Description: Friendly Fire. Deputy Bowman was shot and killed during a SWAT training exercise. Deputy Bowman and ten other officers were training in a mock building at Camp Rilea, Oregon. Dummy rounds were to be used in this exercise but one officer's weapon was loaded with a live round. Deputy Bowman was killed instantly when he was struck in the head.
